Week 1 Lifestyle Change

Updated: Jun 22, 2024

So I've been seeing a wellness expert at Signature Health and they recommended that I try eating 5 to 6 small meals per day. I typically burn around 2800-3000 calories per day. Then I subtract 1000 for a calorie deficit which leaves me with eating 1800 to 2000 calories per day. With this information as a guide, I've just been eating 400 calories every 3 hours.

So I started this last Wednesday (10/31/18) after my appointment. I decided to go by the scale at the doctor's office instead of my home scale. Their scale weighed me at 363.6 with clothes and shoes on. This weight is now the highest I have ever been in my life and I am determined to change that.

In a few short weeks I will be leaving my 20s behind me which I feel is like a closing chapter in my life (turning 30!). I'm going into this new chapter full of determination and perseverance to change the things I have not liked in my life.

It is now my 4th day in and I just finished a 1 hour rebounding workout, just jumping to some of my favorite songs. Here's my stats for the day 😁.

I used to used Cronometer to track my food intake but now I'm just using FitBit to track everything. This is mainly because I like how it tells me how much I can or cannot eat at a given time in order to stay on track.
